Compliance Coordinator - Collection Specialist

Join our growing team as a Compliance Coordinator - Collection Specialist! We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to manage compliance-related collections and ensure accurate, timely processing of sensitive documentation within the trucking and logistics industry. This is a remote opportunity for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about supporting regulatory adherence and effective collections operations.
Key Responsibilities – Compliance and Collections
- Contact clients, vendors, and partners regarding overdue accounts and required compliance documentation.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding payments and ensure all collections activities maintain regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with staff across departments to obtain missing or updated forms, licenses, insurance, and legal documents.
- Document and track all communication and activity in the CRM and compliance databases with thorough accuracy.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally while reinforcing company policies and compliance standards.
- Generate regular reports on collection activity and compliance status for leadership review.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all industry, company, and legal guidelines for record-keeping and client interaction.
Required Qualifications – Compliance Coordinator / Collection Specialist
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in collections, compliance coordination, or a related administrative field.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and documentation processes, particularly within trucking or logistics, is preferred.
- Experience using CRM or compliance tracking software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with careful attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—ability to explain compliance requirements clearly and professionally.
- Professional and diplomatic approach to sensitive or potentially difficult collection conversations.
- Proven multitasking ability and capacity to meet deadlines and team goals.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or certification in compliance, collections, or customer service is an asset.

- Meet weekly collection activity and documentation targets.
- Maintain a high accuracy rate in record-keeping, documentation, and client communications.
- Respond and follow up with contacts in a timely and efficient manner.
