We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily operations of freight transportation, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient route planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and loads in a timely and efficient manner

• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery and provide real-time updates

• Communicate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and resolve any issues on the road

• Coordinate with customers, brokers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations

• Optimize routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times

• Maintain accurate records of loads, routes, and driver logs

• Handle unexpected situations such as delays, breakdowns, or changes in scheduling

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with dry vans and reefers

• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working with TMS (Transportation Management Systems)

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with load boards and freight brokerage platforms

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
